CoolSculpting is the only cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing) treatment to be given FDA clearance for its safety and effectiveness. Using vacuum applicators, CoolSculpting exposes the fat cells to a cold temperature of -11 degrees, without causing any trauma to the surrounding tissues. One applicator can be performed in 35 minutes, the area is then massaged for 2 minutes to encourage the breaking away of the fat cells, this encourages the removal of between 25%-30% of fat cells on average. Once the fat cells have died and passed through the lymphatic system, they do not return! - How long does the treatment take?
One applicator is on for 35 minutes on average, the total time is dependent on the amount of applicators in your treatment plan. We have netflix and refreshments so you can relax during your procedure! - Is this treatment uncomfortable?
During the first 6 minutes of each applicator placement, it can feel slightly uncomfortable as the area is being exposed to the therapeutic temperature, the rest of the treatment is comfortable as the area feels numb after this. - How many treatments are required?
One treatment plan of CoolSculpting will remove between 25-30% of fat cells. Dependant on the size and shape of the area, a second treatment may be required to maximise results.

How long do the results last?
Once a fat cell dies, your body cannot create more therefore results are permanent. However, remaining fat cells can expand with weight gain so it is important to maintain your weight to prevent this.
What is the down time following the treatment?
The area may feel tender for around a week following the treatment, sensitive skins may bruise from the pressure of the vacuum but this will fade quickly. Most clients go back to work and the gym as quickly as the next day!
