Dual Action Acne Treatment (IPL Blue and Red Light)
For Active acne, we can use IPL to help destroy bacteria on the surface of the skin, and help control inflammation levels.
This is a comfortable treatment that is performed twice a week for 3 weeks. Dual-light acne treatment, blue light targets the porphyrin produced by Propionibacterium Acnes bacteria, leading to destruction of the bacteria, while the longer wavelength of red light controls inflammation and promotes faster healing. We then use LED for 10 minutes to calm the skin.
